My Name And Its Meaning

Ok, so I did a little rummaging around Boulder (please don't yell at me. I'm a starved mutant on the run, completely broke. I HAVE to steal SOME things.) and I found this book called Just the Perfect Name. It's a book of names, basically, and I decided to find out what my whole name meant.

Spencer - Steward, shopkeeper. Gosh, thanks, mom and dad, wherever you are! I feel so honored by this great and powerful name.
Dylan - Son of the Wave. Celtic god of the sea. See, now THIS is what I'm talking about. I always, like, thought Poseidon was pretty wicked-awesome, and now I've got a middle name that means I've got his job, in the Celt's eyes. Go Celtics!
Alexander - (Yes, I have 2 middle names. SAB and SDB. They were listed right under each other in the papers. Long story.) Defender or protector of humankind, say the Greeks. I'm hearing ya! I think Max(imum) shoulda been called Alexandra. Then she could be this/that, too!

So, in short, I think I'm gonna start going by Dylan or Alex. I mean, seriously, shopkeeper? When you think Mudd Hawk - Spencer Burnns - do you think SHOPKEEPER?!! Gawd.

Anyway. "God of the Sea" or "Protector of Humankind" is SO much cooler than "Steward". *huffs* Put the cool names first, mom-n-pop. COOL. NAMES. FIRST.

Anyway, that's your little update for today. I shall remain Spencer, but only if the meaning magically gets reversed with Dylan and I can be the sea god. That would be SO sweet, doncha think? I do.

P.S: I just looked over my post, and I'm beginning to sound Minnesoootan, doncha know? Ya, sure, you betcha I'm not, but I sound like one. *looks at Em* Not that it's BAD or anything... *flies away into the sunset* (which is really a sunRISE, but I won't get particular.)

Lexi means protector of mankind too. When I searched for alexiel, it said 'name not found'. -_- As for my human name, Marianne, it's a combination of Mary and Anna. So it's Bitter & Gracious. ><
Spencer the shopkeeper. xDDD

SPENCER

At least your name doesn't mean "house of figs" or a town were dead people came alive. -.-"

Although it's kind of freaky/cool if you read Double Identity....

I don't care what you call yerself as long as you don't confuse me. Then again, I have a lot of names when you think about it. *thinks*
